Build a Community Education Business | Part-time to Equity Ownership | ~21–30 Months
The Branch Partner Program is a three-stage vesting model that takes two committed individuals from part-time staff roles (Stage 1) through profit sharing (Stage 2) to full equity ownership (Stage 3) in approximately 21–30 months. Every stage is supported by RLC’s curriculum, systems, HR, and back-office — so you can focus on building your local student community.
Unlike traditional franchises, you start earning from day one with a base pay and grow into business ownership alongside a complementary partner.
Before you apply, identify your complementary partner. The program requires two people with different strengths working as a team:

This one-time non-refundable fee secures each partner’s position and covers onboarding, training, and launch support. The fee is based on your prior RLC experience:

If you are an active Branch Ambassador who has successfully referred 30 or more students to RLC, your one-time commitment fee is fully waived when you apply for the Branch Partner Program. Your referral track record already demonstrates the community presence and growth mindset we look for in a Growth Partner.
You don’t need to find a Growth Partner from scratch either — you are the Growth Partner. Simply pair up with an Academic Partner and apply together. Mention your ambassador status on your application and we will verify your referral count and waive the fee automatically.

Both partners are part-time staff members during Stage 1. Pay structures differ by role:
Academic Partner — Hourly / Per Session
Paid $30 per hour for each 1-hour tutoring session conducted. The more sessions taught, the more earned.
Example at 20 hrs/wk:
$30/hr × 20 hrs × 4.33 wks = ~$2,598/mo
Teach more hours → earn more. No cap.
Growth Partner — Fixed Hours
Paid $15/hr for community outreach, marketing, and enrollment activities.
Example at 20 hrs/wk:
$15/hr × 20 hrs × 4.33 wks = ~$1,299/mo
Both partners earn bonuses on every student enrollment on top of base pay. Tiers are based on combined team milestones.

What this means financially: Your base pay stays the same as Stage 1, and 10% profit sharing is added on top. The more profitable the branch, the more you earn above your base.

What this means financially: Your base pay continues and profit sharing doubles to 20% each. Upon successfully completing Stage 3 (all 12 months), equity vests and you own 20% of the branch entity.

Total time from signup to equity: approximately 21–30 months.
Every partner — vested or not — must remain actively working in their defined role at a minimum of 20 hours per week. Passive ownership is not permitted at any stage. This applies throughout Stages 1, 2, and 3.
Once equity is vested (upon completing Stage 3), a partner may sell or transfer their ownership stake subject to the following conditions:
If either partner leaves the program or becomes inactive, RLC retains the right to repurchase that partner’s equity shares at a predetermined formula-based valuation.
