The College Board's decision to move the SAT into the digital realm signifies a significant shift in standardized testing. We at Ramana Coaching Center, have prepared this comprehensive guide to help you successfully navigate the new Digital SAT. In this guide, we will cover every aspect of what to expect on test day, ensuring you are fully prepared for this digital journey.

Adaptive Testing:

  • The new Digital SAT includes two sections: a combined Reading and Writing section and a distinct Math section.
  • Each section comprises two modules, each running for about 30-35 minutes.
  • The Digital SAT incorporates a two-stage adaptive format, where the performance in the initial module affects the difficulty of questions in the subsequent module.
  • Students testing together receive unique yet comparable versions of the test in both modules.

Streamlined Test, Expedited Results:

  • Students taking the Digital SAT are allotted a total time of 2 hours and 14 minutes with a 10 minutes interval between both the sections.
  • Digital SAT scores are provided to students approximately two weeks after they have completed the test.

  • Essential Materials: Ensure you have your admission ticket, valid photo ID, No. 2 pencils, approved calculator, water, snacks, watch, and dress in layers for comfort.
  • Stay Informed: Be aware of any specific requirements or restrictions at the test center.

Registration Process:

  1. Create a College Board Account: Ensure you have a College Board account; if not, create one on the official website.
  2. Accurate Information: Fill out the registration form accurately, providing personal details and preferred test preferences.
  3. Select Test Date and Center: Choose a Digital SAT date and test center, ensuring availability and checking for specific requirements.
  4. Payment: Pay the registration fee, considering applicable fee waivers if eligible.
  5. Confirmation: Upon registration, expect a confirmation email with details about your test date and center.
  6. Effective Preparation: Utilize study resources to prepare thoroughly for the test

Post-Test Details:

  • Swift Score Reporting: Scores are available online a few days after the test through your College Board account.
  • Scoring Structure: The scoring structure remains on the 1600 scale, reflecting performance in both the Reading and Writing section and the Math section.
