Stay-Ahead Reading Comprehension

If you are anxious about your child's proficiency in English language and reading, we are here to help your child. Proficient reading abilities can unlock a multitude of opportunities for success. When you can read effectively, you can excel in other academic fields. Ramana Learning Center specializes in assisting students who struggle with reading to become swift and competent readers.

Program Highlights

  • Reading Fundamentals:We focus on building a solid foundation in reading including vocabulary, language development, reading comprehension strategies, text complexity and diverse literature.
  • Reading Strategies:We teach effective reading strategies, such as previewing and predicting, active reading and annotation, questioning, visualizing, making connections and drawing conclusions.
  • Reading Practice:Our ELA tutors teach students how to develop a vocabulary, emphasizing learning words in context.

Ramana Learning Center offers the Stay-Ahead Reading Comprehension Program to middle & high school students seeking to excel academically. Our seven separate locations, including North Charlotte NC, South Charlotte NC, Cary NC, Cumming GA, Frisco TX, Houston TX, and Edison NJ offer convenient access to our highly qualified tutors.

How to Enroll

  1. Create your parent account — Register on My Portal as a parent. It only takes a few minutes.
  2. Add your child and choose a program — Once logged in, click Add a child, then use our simple enrollment wizard to select the program and complete registration.
  3. Receive your confirmation email — You will receive an email confirmation as soon as your child’s enrollment is complete.
  4. We follow up with you — A branch staff member will call you to discuss next steps and get your child started on the program.
